The University de Bordeaux is an International University and projects to increasingly develop its international goals both in Research and in Education. Several partnerships have already been established in order to propose the exchange of international students (incoming and outgoing) at the undergraduate (incl. Erasmus Mundus programs) and graduate level.

An English-speaking International Bachelor program is available at the Chemistry Department. Double Degree are also possible due to education and research partnerships between the Université de Bordeaux and Universities in other countries and continents. These partnerships involve the research laboratories and favor the mobility of its researchers.

International offices on campus facilitate the welcoming and integration of foreign students and researchers. Fellowships for student exchange are also available for local and foreign students.
